Why is my intent scan queued or still processing
A scan that shows as queued is waiting for LeadFuze to get its data. A scan that shows another active status is moving through processing. You don't need to do anything unless the scan fails. The Intent data page refreshes on its own while a scan is running.

#What each status means
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
queued | The scan is waiting for its data. This covers a scan not yet submitted, one waiting for reusable cached results, and one whose data request is already in progress. |
inprogress | The data has been downloaded and is being processed. |
fetched | The data has been retrieved and is waiting for profile enrichment. |
enriching | Full contact profiles are being added, or the profile files are being compressed into ZIPs. |
done | The scan finished. Its files are ready. |
failed | The scan could not finish. You can retry it. |
#How long scans take
There is no fixed turnaround time. Scans move through each step in the background, and the time depends on the topic.
Some scans skip the wait. If fresh results for the same topic are already available, the scan can finish without ever showing as queued.
#Things that can keep a scan queued
- A download problem. The scan stays queued and LeadFuze checks the existing request again.
- A new day's data. Results for a topic expire at the next 3 a.m. Pacific time. The first scan after that starts a fresh fetch. A scan that was already queued can still finish with its existing results.
- A missing request record. If LeadFuze can't find the tracking for a queued scan, the scan fails. It does not start a second request on its own.
#Scans that don't start
You can't run a topic while the same topic is already running in your account. It is skipped, and the confirmation says so. If you have no scans left this month, you see: "You have no Intent Scans left this month." The message tells you the date they reset.
#If a scan fails
See Retry a failed intent scan. A retry does not use another scan.
Finished scans stay in your history for 7 days. Scans that are still running stay visible until they finish.
