What is intent data
Intent data shows you which companies and people are researching a topic right now. You pick a topic, LeadFuze scans for it, and you download the results as a contact list.

#What it is based on
LeadFuze tracks more than 5 billion browsing and research signals a day. The feed is refreshed every 24 hours. Signals come from co-op members, data partnerships and the open web.
Topics come from two catalogs, and every topic is labelled either b2b or b2c:
- More than 35,000 B2B categories.
- More than 7,000 B2C categories.
- More than 42,000 topics in total.
The same person can show up for every product they compare.
#How it works
- Search and select topics. Find topics that match your target market. See Find a topic to scan for.
- Submit a request. Each topic you submit becomes an intent data request.
- Wait for processing. The request moves through the statuses below.
- Download the results. When the request is done, download the file of companies researching your topic.
#Request statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | We received your request and queued it. |
| In Progress | We are collecting data for your topic. |
| Enriching | We collected the raw data and are adding company information. |
| Done | The results are ready to download. |
#What you see before you scan
Every topic shows how many people a day research it. You can see this, plus a sample of every field, before you run a scan. LeadFuze calculates the figure by dividing the topic's average daily profiles by 6.
Note
Submitting a request can use credits. If your account does not have enough, the request is not created.
