Install the IDRP pixel on Drupal, Joomla or Ghost

Paste your IDRP pixel code into your site's header. The steps differ on each platform.

#Drupal

The recommended method is the Header and Footer Scripts module. It is the easiest way to install the pixel.

  1. #Install the module

Download and enable the "Header and Footer Scripts" module from Drupal.org.

  2. Go to Configuration → Development → Header and Footer Scripts → Header.

  3. #Add your pixel code

Paste your IDRP pixel code in the header section and save.

#Method 2: Theme template (advanced)

  1. #Edit html.html.twig

In your theme's templates folder, edit html.html.twig.

  2. #Add the code before </head>

Paste your pixel code just before the closing </head> tag.

  3. #Clear the cache

Clear Drupal's cache at Configuration → Performance → Clear all caches.

#Joomla

  1. #Log into Joomla Admin

Open your Joomla administrator panel. It is usually at /administrator.

  2. #Go to Extensions → Templates

Navigate to Extensions → Templates → Templates in the menu.

  3. #Select your template

Click your active site template. It is marked "Default" with a star.

  4. #Edit index.php

Click index.php in the template files list to edit it.

  5. #Add the code before </head>

Paste your IDRP pixel code just before the closing </head> tag.

  6. #Save and clear the cache

Save the file. Then clear the cache at System → Clear Cache.

Tip

To avoid editing template files directly, consider a Joomla extension such as "Custom Code" or "Header/Footer Code".

#Ghost

  1. #Access Ghost Admin

Log into your Ghost admin panel. It is usually at /ghost.

  2. #Go to Settings

Click the Settings icon (gear) in the left sidebar.

  3. #Open Code injection

Scroll down and click Code injection.

  4. #Add the pixel to Site Header

Paste your IDRP pixel code in the Site Header field.

  5. #Save

Click Save to apply the changes.

Note

Code injection is available on all Ghost plans, including the free self-hosted version.
