Email install instructions to your developer
Enter your developer's email address and LeadFuze sends them the pixel setup steps for your site. You don't need to copy the code yourself.
#What you enter
| Field | Required | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Developer's email | Yes | Must be a valid email address, up to 255 characters |
| Developer's name | No | Up to 100 characters |
If you leave the email empty or it isn't valid, you'll see: "Add your developer's email first."
The instructions are for the site currently selected on the page. If you have more than one site, pick the right one first.
#What your developer receives
The email has the subject LeadFuze IDRP Tracking Pixel Installation Instructions.
When your developer replies, the reply goes to your email address.
The email includes:
- A greeting. It uses the name you entered, or "Hi there" if you left it blank.
- A note saying you asked them to install the IDRP tracking pixel on your website.
- Your project name, website URL and project ID.
- Your tracking code, with your project ID in it.
- Installation steps. If LeadFuze detected the platform your site runs on, the steps are for that platform.
- A link to the help page for that platform.
For a site on Google Tag Manager, the email walks through creating a Custom HTML tag, pasting the code, setting the trigger to "All Pages", then saving and publishing.
#After they install it
Ask your developer to tell you when it's published. Then check that the pixel is installed. Identified visitors show up under Visitors within a few minutes of the pixel going live.
