Sign in with an emailed code
You can sign in with a 6-digit code that LeadFuze emails you. You do not need a password. Accounts made on leadfuze.com have no password, so this is how those users sign in.
#Ask for a code
On the page headed "Sign in without a password.", enter your address in Work email and select Email me a code.
LeadFuze shows: "If there is an account for that email, a code is on its way. It works for 10 minutes."
#Find the email
The email subject is "Your LeadFuze sign-in code:" followed by your code.
#Enter the code
The page now says "Check your email." Type the code into 6-digit code and select Sign in.
#Limits
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Code length | 6 digits |
| How long a code works | 10 minutes |
| Wrong tries per code | 5. After the fifth wrong try, the code stops working and you need a new one. |
| Codes per email address | 5 every 10 minutes |
Each code works once. After you sign in with it, it cannot be used again.
#If something goes wrong
- "That code does not match. Check the latest email from LeadFuze, or send a new code." Use the code from the newest email. Older codes stop working once a new one is sent.
- No email arrives. LeadFuze only sends a code if the address has an account. The page shows the same message either way, so it never reveals which addresses are registered. Check the address, then look in your spam folder.
- Need another code? Select Send a new code.
- Typed the wrong address? Select Use a different email.
- Prefer a password? Select Sign in with a password instead.
Note
Signing in with a code also marks your email address as verified if it was not already.
